[Invitation] The 2026 World Cup: Favourites, Underdogs and Everything in Between

Wednesday, 10 June 2026, 18.30 – 20.30 CEST

European Parliament, Brussels – Hosted by David Casa MEP

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is almost here. For the first time, the tournament will be co-hosted across three countries – the United States, Canada, and Mexico – and will feature an expanded field of 48 teams, making it the largest World Cup in history.

Yet the outcome remains wide open. Who are the real favourites? Which teams are the dark horses? Who will be the tournament’s surprise package? And who will emerge as the top goalscorer?

Join leading experts as they break down the tournament and give their predictions for who will lift the trophy.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Jon Russell – Founder, BetTrust Solutions
  • David Wall – Director, Data Insights, Opta
  • Dave Keating – Journalist (Moderator)
