Agenda: European Safer Gambling Week 2023

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) is pleased to announce the agenda of the upcoming European Safer Gambling Week (ESGW) which is taking place on 13-17 November 2023.

ESGW is an annual cross-border campaign to raise awareness about safer gambling in Europe. Established by EGBA in 2021, the initiative is supported by EGBA, its members, other gambling operators, and a group of European online gambling associations who come together each year to have open and honest conversations about safer gambling.

The objective of ESGW is to:

  • Raise awareness about safer gambling.
  • Provide customers with the information they need to gamble safely.
  • Signpost the resources and help available for those who need it.
  • Discuss the latest developments in regulations and research.

This 3rd edition of the initiative is supported by 19 European online gambling associations,[1] including the EGBA and its members, and there will be a range of events, activities and a social media campaign taking place across Europe to raise awareness about safer gambling.

The agenda for the week can be found below and registration for these events is entirely free. More events will be added to the agenda in the coming weeks.

Join the discussions during the European Safer Gambling Week by following EGBA on Twitter @EUgambling and LinkedIn @European Gaming and Betting Association, and using the hashtag #ESGW23.
