EGBA launches new website to boost online presence
The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), the trade association for the online gaming industry, has today launched a new website and a new destination for informative and insightful information into the regulatory issues affecting the online gaming and betting industry across Europe.
The new site will become an online home for the EGBA and help its mission to promote fair competition for European online gaming operators and freedom of choice for consumers throughout Europe.
The site will contain up-to-date industry news, as well as information for consumers, journalists and politicians, from the EGBA's mission statement and manifesto through to links to the grass roots campaigns in action across Europe.
Sigrid Ligné, Secretary General, EGBA, commented: "Our new website will allow us to deliver messages and facts about the relevant issues in this debate and to demonstrate the activity and work we are doing to promote fair competition for online gaming operators and freedom of choice for consumers throughout Europe. We believe that European consumers should have the choice to access all European-licensed and regulated online gaming services that are provided lawfully in their country of origin, without the imposition of unjustifiable restrictions imposed by states seeking to protect their own monopoly providers. In other words, we want the industry to be able to offer consumers the choice to play when, where and how they want and we intend to use the new website and other online activity to help rally the support we need to make this happen."
The EGBA is a not-for-profit association set up by the seven leading online gaming operators in Europe to promote fair competition for European online gaming operators and freedom of choice for consumers throughout Europe.
